Why a family website???

Well, if you just hang around for a bit, I'll let you in on my theory of a "Family Website".  To me a website is a way of using modern day technology to communicate with the world whether it be business, pleasure, or just self expression.  Well, I see a family website as all 3. 

The business aspect of it is that of a promoting nature.  Most of you promote your business or at least know someone who does, right?  Well...same concept.  I try to promote my family by letting the world know that we are here and that maybe, just maybe this site may influence others to do the same thing. 

The pleasure of it is that I get to spend time with my family by thinking of new ideas for the site.  Each of us get pleasure by some means don't we?  Some of us by reading, others by playing golf, and there are those who even work to achieve pleasure.  Well, this is my "Golf" so to speak.  This is my relaxation from the world's stress. 

Finally, the self expression of a family website is that you can be creative.  Each of us have our own personality and we each express ourselves in different ways so this is the best way to do that.  Have any of you ever been to an art gallery?  The artist put a lot of time, thought, and effort into those paintings, those self expression pieces and they display them to the world.  We have unlimited technology available around us to allow us to show our self expression to the world, so I fell like a family website helps to promote the love of family, gives pleasure to those involved, & allows each member to work together to create something that expresses each of us as an individual, but more importantly...
